The Crosby L-1339 Clevis Sling Hook is a heavy-duty alloy steel hook designed for use with Grade 80 and Grade 100 chain slings. Its clevis-style connection allows the hook to attach directly to compatible alloy chain without requiring a separate connecting link, helping create a compact and efficient sling assembly.
Each L-1339 hook is forged, quenched and tempered, individually proof tested, and marked with a Product Identification Code for material traceability. The low-profile hook tip and integrated latch help retain the load, while Crosby QUIC-CHECK® indicators support routine inspection for deformation and changes in the hook opening.
The Crosby L-1339 is commonly used in alloy chain sling assemblies for material handling, fabrication, construction, manufacturing and other overhead lifting applications requiring a durable clevis sling hook with an integrated latch. Its compact clevis connection makes it an excellent choice for new sling assemblies as well as replacement hooks during sling inspection and repair.
