Rigging and safety gear purchased from Bishop Lifting should be used in strict accordance with all industry and OSHA standards. Harrington CF hand chain hoists provide a practical and economical solution for everyday manual lifting applications. Available in capacities from 1/2 through 5 tons, the CF Series uses a streamlined design with fewer parts to support dependable operation, simplified maintenance and long service life.
A thick die-cast aluminum body provides strength without unnecessary weight, while a heat-treated main pinion shaft, load gear, pre-lubricated ball bearings and precision-machined drivetrain components help deliver smooth lifting with reduced manual effort. The Weston-style load brake incorporates two moisture-resistant brake pads with four braking surfaces for positive load control.
Harrington CF hand chain hoists are well suited for maintenance departments, fabrication shops, construction sites, warehouses, manufacturing facilities and other applications requiring dependable manual lifting. Their compact, lightweight design makes them especially useful for portable lifting, equipment positioning, machinery installation and general material handling where electrical or air power is unavailable or unnecessary.
Forged and heat-treated alloy steel hooks are designed to open gradually rather than fracture when subjected to excessive loading. The simplified internal design uses fewer parts for easier servicing, while stocked lift heights of 10, 15 and 20 feet provide options for common lifting environments. Special load chain lengths and hand chain drops are also available upon request.
