ADB nickel-plated swivel hoist rings provide a strong, versatile lifting point for applications where load direction may change and additional corrosion resistance is desired. Forged from high-strength 4140 alloy steel and protected with an electroless nickel-plated finish, these heavy-duty hoist rings are available in UNC thread sizes with rated loads from 550 to 30,000 lbs.
Unlike conventional eye bolts, ADB swivel hoist rings are designed to swivel 360° and pivot 180°, allowing the lifting bail to align with the direction of the applied load. ADB specifies that its swivel hoist rings maintain full rated capacity from 0° through 90° from the bolt axis, subject to the rated capacity and application requirements of the selected model.
ADB nickel-plated swivel hoist rings are designed for use as load-rated lifting and attachment points on machinery, fixtures, dies, molds, fabricated assemblies and other equipment. Their ability to swivel and pivot with the direction of loading makes them especially useful where a fixed lifting eye may be subjected to angular loading. The corrosion-resistant nickel-plated finish also provides additional protection in environments where an unplated lifting point may be less desirable.
The electroless nickel plating meets AMS-C-26074 Class 1 Grade B. Each ADB hoist ring is individually serialized and can be disassembled and reassembled for inspection. Standard UNC models are offered with thread sizes ranging from 1/4″-20 through 2″-4-1/2, providing options for a wide range of lifting capacities and mounting requirements.
