The Crosby S-1326 SHUR-LOC® swivel hook combines the convenience of a positioning swivel with the added security of a positive locking latch. Designed for overhead lifting with wire rope and Grade 80 or Grade 100 alloy chain, the SHUR-LOC® latch automatically locks when the hook is loaded while remaining easy to operate with enlarged thumb access. The recessed trigger design helps protect the latch mechanism from accidental damage during normal service.
Each hook is forged from alloy steel, quenched and tempered, individually proof tested to 2-1/2 times its Working Load Limit, and fatigue rated to 20,000 cycles at 1-1/2 times the Working Load Limit. Like other positioning swivel hooks, the S-1326 is intended to swivel for positioning before lifting and is not designed to rotate while supporting a load.
The Crosby S-1326 SHUR-LOC® swivel hook is ideal for crane blocks, wire rope slings, chain slings and other overhead lifting assemblies where the additional security of a positive locking latch is desired. The swivel eye allows the hook to be properly oriented before lifting begins, while the SHUR-LOC® latch automatically locks under load to help keep the rigging securely retained. The hook is designed for positioning only and should not be rotated while supporting a load.
