The Crosby S-1317 SHUR-LOC® Clevis Hook is a self-locking alloy steel hook designed for use with Grade 80 and Grade 100 chain sling assemblies. Its clevis connection attaches directly to compatible alloy chain, helping create a compact sling assembly without requiring a separate connecting link.
The SHUR-LOC® positive-locking latch closes automatically when the hook is loaded, helping provide secure load retention during lifting operations. A recessed trigger sits flush with the hook body to help protect the release mechanism from impact and accidental damage, while enlarged thumb access makes the hook easier to operate while wearing work gloves.
The Crosby S-1317 is ideal for alloy chain sling assemblies used in construction, manufacturing, fabrication, energy, transportation and general material handling. Its positive-locking SHUR-LOC® latch makes it particularly well suited for lifting applications where secure load engagement and resistance to accidental opening are important.
