Each hook is forged, quenched and tempered from alloy steel and incorporates Crosby’s forged-in QUIC-CHECK® deformation and angle indicators for simplified inspections. Unlike standard swivel hooks intended only for positioning, the L-3322B is specifically designed for rotation under load. Periodic bearing lubrication is recommended based on service frequency and operating conditions.
Crosby L-3322B swivel hooks are commonly used on crane blocks, spreader beams, lifting devices, wire rope slings and chain assemblies where the hook must rotate while supporting a load. The bearing allows smooth rotation under load, helping minimize twisting forces and making it easier to orient heavy loads during lifting operations.
